Hold down the spacebar and click in the first measure (or use the playback controls) to start each loop 3 measures before the repeat sign. The three measures give you time to get ready to play.
The DropPowerBnD file is two pages long and there are 3 loops total.
Here is a good way to practice the Drop D progressions. Focus on individual hands first and don't try to play with the Notepad file until you can count and strum on your own.
- Play the chords in order. Don't worry about the rhythm. (focuses on the chord forming hand)
- Just strum and mute the strings while counting the correct subdivision in your head. Don't worry about forming the chords. (focuses on the strumming hand)
- After you practice both things, try to strum the chords with the correct rhythm. (Hands together)
- Add the DropPowerBnD file to the practice routine. Adjust the tempo to match how you were counting and playing on your own. Be able to count with the BnD file first.
- Start strumming with the DropPowerBnD file. Dont worry about forming the chords. (Right hand only with Notepad)
- When you are ready, try to play the chords with the DropPowerBnD file. (Hands together with Notepad)

A metronome can be substituted for the DropPowerBnD file and it's a little easier to practice with a metronome... your final goal should be to be able to play it with the Notepad file.
